Serafini & Vidotto Bollicine Rosé NV, Veneto, Italy

The duo of Serafini & Vidotto is again into our Giro d’Italia with this new sparkling wine. They claim their wines do not follow trends, and the same is true for this Bollicine Rosé, it must always be a good wine, not a trend.

Made with a 90% Chardonnay and 10%  Pinot Noir briefly  matured in used oak

It’s gently frothy, fruity and with the fragrant aromas of currant, wild strawberry, pomegranate, and rosehip. A subtle fragrance of toasted bread is on the back of your first sip. Pairing: with a shellfish salad, shellfish tempura and vegetables, or any time of the day.
